The 7th edition of ICT.OPEN will be organised on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th March 2019 in Gooiland in Hilversum. Read more about our exciting new programme and our call for Abstracts.
The field of ICT is rapidly developing. There are many open research questions and new opportunities to apply research results to further transform and improve our society. To bring together fundamental ICT research as well as novel and innovative applications of ICT research, the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) and the ICT Research Platform for the Netherlands (IPN) are organising ICT.OPEN2019.
More than 400 scientists from all ICT research disciplines and from ICT industry will come together to learn from each other, to share ideas and to expand their network.
ICT.OPEN2019 is part of the Dutch Digital Conference from 18 to 21 March 2019. NWO, Smart Industry and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy are jointly organising this digitisation week.

The Hannover Messe is the outstanding international industry trade fair and the world's largest capital goods trade fair. In 2018 the Hannover Messe counted more than 220.000 visitors, 6.500 exhibitors and over 1.00 speeches. The FIWARE Global Summit unites developers, entrepreneurs, political decision makers, thought leaders, business executives and investors to exchange views and developments on how smart IoT and Open Data solutions can be implemented in the areas of Smart Cities, Industry 4.0 and Agriculture.
We invite the FIWARE Community to actively take part in designing the next FIWARE Summit. Those interested in contributing should provide at least a title and an abstract by January 25th, 2019.

After the great success of the first edition of the BDV PPP Meetup last year in Sofia (Bulgaria), the Big Data Value PPP is happy to announce the celebration of a new edition of this event in Riga (Latvia), from 26 to 28 June.
The chosen venue to host the event is the National Library of Latvia, a magnificent building considered among the greatest cultural projects of the 21st century in Latvia.
Similar to last year, the meetup will include an open day with plenary and parallel sessions, keynotes and speeches from representative actors both at local and European level that will share their insights about data driven and AI based innovation, and a day more focused on the implementation of the strategy of the PPP, with workshops and other activities organized by the PPP stakeholders.
The event is co-organized by the Big Data Value Association and the BDVe project, with the collaboration of the rest of BDV PPP projects, and the local support of the Latvian company Tilde
