“The success of IDS is in the hands of its members and users!“ This statement, made at their own summit in March, shows that the International Data Spaces Association is already focused on new growth initiatives. One of the measures discussed there is now being launched: “Members recruit members” is the name of a campaign that focuses on initiating direct dialogue with companies and institutions for which commitment to IDSA and the development of the Industrial Data Space will be attractive.

Ralf-Peter Simon, Director Strategy & Growth Support at the International Data Spaces Association, is certain: “The advantages and achievements of Industrial Data Space can be best communicated by those companies that are already taking a stand for its implementation and are committed members of the IDSA”. Every one of the currently 85 member companies can become active within the framework of the initiative. “In doing so, we rely on a combination of personal approach and convincing performance.”

In addition to sponsors from the member companies, the milestones and use cases for Industrial Data Space should also speak for membership. Ralf-Peter Simon knows: “Of course, we do not only have to present our goals to potential members but also show the tangible results of our work.” It is therefore planned to report even more consistently on progress in the development and establishment of Industrial Data Space and to further advance the number of use cases. “We are heading in the right direction”, says Simon. “And we would like to pursue this with many more new members.”
